Users complained on Reddit that they were facing Dolby Atmos Audio quality when they updated their Galaxy S23 Phone to the One UI 6.1.1 update.

In the compliance statement, users said they are unable to feel a stronger surround effect both on ‘Movie’ and ‘Music’ modes. The One UI 6.1.1 is a general update for fixing mighty bugs and giving better system stability.

Another user on the Samsung Member app stated that “Dolby Music lacks bass, movie mode just reverbs now and sounds a lot worse“. They also said the voice quality is not as good as Dolby Atmos generally.

Also in the reply, other users said, that Automode defaults the setting to Voice mode instead of Music mode when listening to Spotify.

When I got a deep search on that, I saw multiple users complaining about the same problem. According to the SamMobile reports, Samsung communicated to the Atmos team to fix this issue.

What was the One UI 6.1.1 for Galaxy S23

Samsung has pushed out the One UI 6.1.1 for minor camera problems in Galaxy S23 and a few more devices. The fix this, Samsung has released the One UI 6.1.1 update.

Within a week of this, a few users started complaining about the Dolby Atmos audio issues.

Also few users have complained about the camera lag, and app crashes but rebooting methods worked every time after the update. However, it should not appear when the device gets the update.

Now it looks like the Galaxy S23 lineup will get another security update to fix this update, however company has not confirmed anything on that.
