Huawei is renowned for its powerful smartphones, and the Huawei Mate 60, last year’s launch in China, has achieved impressive sales of 14 million units. According to a blog post by the Chinese microblogger “Finance Network Technology” on Weibo, multiple supply chain sources confirm that the Huawei Mate 60 Series sold over 14 million units from mid-September 2023 to September 2024. This figure marks a significant achievement for the company.

Huawei Mate 60 Series

Huawei has launched two models in the Mate 60 Series: the Mate 60 and the Mate 60 Pro. Both devices have garnered millions of admirers in China due to their premium design and high-end performance. Each model features an LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. However, the regular Mate 60 has a 6.69-inch screen, while the Pro model boasts a slightly larger 6.82-inch screen.

Excitingly both models run on HarmonyOS 4.0 self-made operating system for its mobile along with the Kirin 9000S (7 nm) chipset giving serious best performances.

The pro model has slightly better camera specs instead of the regular Mate 60. The Huawei Mate 60 regular has 50Mp+12Mp+12Mp camera sensors on the rear side while the Mate 60 Pro has a 50Mp+48Mp+12mp camera on the rear panel additionally both have similar 13Mp shooters on the front side.

The Huawei Mate 60 regular had a 4750mAh battery along with 66W wired, 50W wireless, and 5W reverse wireless charging support, on the other side Huawei Mate 60 Pro had a 5000mAh battery that supports 88W wired, 50W wireless,s and 20W reverse wireless charging capacity.

Huawei Mate 70 Series Rumored

The latest from the Huawei is Mate 70 series which is already rumored to launch soon in China. The new phone from Huawei is set to come with the same HarmonyOS operating system based on its self-made KIRIN new chipset which is said to feature powerful AI modules that will be quite powerful and helpful for your daily routine. As for the launch, the Huawei Mate 70 Series is expected to be introduced in China this year.
