Apple is reportedly targeting mass production of its AI server chip, which it has partnered with Ameria’s popular semiconductors manufacturer Broadcom, narrowing its dependency on NVidia. Apple is targeting the mass production of its AI Server chip starting in 2026.
According to Korea’s Popular IT Media, Apple is manufacturing its AI Server chip with the codename “Baltra” using Taiwan’s largest semiconductors manufacturer TSMC’s 3nm processes.

Reports suggest that the upcoming major iOS update may feature innovative advancements. Currently, the AI Image Playground is capable of generating cartoonish images based on text prompts. However, some rumors suggest that the next update will improve the accuracy of the Image Playground, allowing it to create more realistic images by leveraging external AI models.
