Hello, gaming lovers, Today I am here with my experience with the iQOO Z6 Pro‘s gaming capability. I have used this phone for more than 12 months and mostly use it for gaming. I played so many games, including COD Mobile and PUBG Mobile, and today I am going to share my experience with you.

iQOO Z6 Pro: Is This Phone Still Worth It?
Talking about its CPU, which is Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G, which is built on 3nm processes. Looking at the architecture, the processor is divided into three clusters: a high-performance core running at 2.4 GHz (Cortex-A78), which handles demanding tasks and intensive gaming; three mid-tier cores clocked at 2.2 GHz (Cortex-A78), offering a balance of speed and power for multitasking and mid-level apps; and four efficiency cores running at 1.9 GHz (Cortex-A55), which optimize battery life by handling lighter tasks like browsing and messaging.
Now, it’s time for real experience with the phone. I have installed BGMI since the purchase. Since then, I have played it until now, and can you believe it, it is giving minor gaming issues on the phone, but 12 months is too long. Every day I played BGMI for more than 3 hours, and sometimes we face minor issues after 5 or 6 months of use.
At the start, the phone looked like a real gaming phone, with no lags, no extreme heating, and good optimization. Not only that, its 90Hz AMOLED display is also good for doing good gaming sessions.
The BGMI is running on Smooth + Extreme FPS, which means it’s promised to give you the 60 FPS gameplay. However, it is not constant; sometimes it decreases to 45 FPS when heating.
Display Performances During Gaming
The iQOO Z6 Pro has a 6.44-inch, 90Hz AMOLED display that is multitouch capacitive and has good response, I feel, during gaming. The size of the display also suited me for comfortable gaming; however, we have tried gaming sessions with some other phones, and when I compared those phones with it, it stood tall.
Recently I bought another phone just for gaming, which is the iQOO Z9s, and when I compare them, believe me, both are running at the same frames, but the Z9s is a new phone, so with that, we don’t face extreme frame drops like the iQOO Z6 Pro phone.
The display department will also be one of the few reasons behind this because the iQOO Z9s comes with a 120Hz curved AMOLED display, which is slightly better than the Z6 Pro.
Battery Is Also Supportive
During gaming, gamers mostly need extended gaming sessions, which are sometimes broken by battery drains. The iQOO Z6 Pro has a 4700mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. The battery capacity is ideal for gaming; however, my new phone, the iQOO Z9s, has a 5500 mAh battery with 44 W fast charging support.
In the charging aspects, the Z6 Pro is still better than the Z9s. The IQOO Z6 Pro still has an extended gaming session of 6.5 hours on high settings to date. We only face minor lag issues after these long days.
Other Features Are Also Good
Apart from these features, the iQOO Z6 Pro has seriously excellent performance in all the departments; whether it is camera or visuals, everything is smart and optimized. The rear-mounted triple camera setup, including a 64 MP primary camera, an 8 MP UW camera, and 2 MP depth sensors, generates a high-quality, well-optimized picture when clicked. The front side has a 16MP shooter, which is also a good camera sensor that can also record 1080p video.
The phone has a massive 6GB/8GB/12GB of RAM paired with 128GB and 256GB of onboard storage.
Conclusion
I have personally experienced this phone, and if you go with this phone for gaming, then it is a great choice for you. Whether it is battery draining or a more constant frame rate, all are well optimized. After a few months of extreme gaming usage, you may face minor lag and frame drop issues, but it is not a big question because it is now a nature of all the new gaming smartphones.
If you are looking for photography and video recording aspects like a professional, then I will not recommend you go with this phone. Its performance is optimized for multitasking and gaming, and if you have this type of work on a daily basis, you can go with this.
