Huawei has introduced its brand new phone called Huawei Mate 70 Series which houses the newest Kirin 9020 Chipset that created a buzz in the market. After the launch of the phone, Smartphone Analysts and geeks started comparing its performances with the other devices, and can you believe it, they concluded that the Kirin 9020 SoC is slightly better than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 Chipset.

Kirin 9020 vs Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1

The Kirin 9020 chipset is housed by the latest smartphone from Huawei called Huawei Mate 70 Series while the Honor 90 Pro, Realme GT 3, Motorola Edge 30 Ultra, and a few more devices debuted with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 Chipset.

The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 first appeared in 2022 which was slightly better than its previous version Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 achieved a 10% increase in performance in GPU and 30% improved power efficiency.

Interestingly the newly introduced Kirin 9020 Chipset completed all the tasks while they are built on 4nm technology. According to the source, the Kirin 9020 Chipste has 40% better performance than its previous version Kriin 9010 SoC.

However the Kirin 9020 Architecture has not been fully disclosed but according to the source, it is giving similar performances like the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

Huawei Mate 70 Series

The Huawei Mate 70 Series is said to come with a 6.7-inch screen while the Mate 70 Pro houses a 6.9-inch display and both support a 120hz screen refresh rate. The regular Mate 70 comes with a 50Mp shooter while a dual 12Mp lens, on the other hand, the Mate 70 Pro has a 50Mp shooter along with 48Mp and 12Mp camera lenses.

The Mate 70 comes with a 5,300 mAh battery with 66W wired and 50W wireless charging, while the Mate 70 Pro houses a 5,500 mAh battery with 100W wired and 80W wireless fast charging.
