They said, personal information is a type of data and who is using it for their own business, even don’t know. Because the WhatsApp channel Admin and group admin have access to the members’ Contact Numbers, So Zimbabwe ministers have made good decisions over here.

According to lines, when anything else happens in the Group, the Admin has to take responsibility to solve the problem. When it comes to legal advisory or police cases, the Admin has to give all data and personal information so that the Police can retrieve the case.

As you know, this is the world of AI where users can generate spam messages, pictures, and videos and it is mostly shared on WhatsApp groups & Channels, So that’s why Zimbabwe has taken this decision to control these types of causes.

A few years back, a girl’s private video went viral on Social media and it first started a WhatsApp group. The video went viral after the 100th Whatsapp Group shared the video and a few users started sharing it on Online Media too.

These are seriously bad manners for the users. Now as per the new rules, the Group Admin will be responsible for, any other users who share any kind of private photos, videos ay anything else that may cause problems.

Besides this, Other countries have no kind of Guidelines for sharing content on Social Media, especially on WhatsApp and Telegram have thousands of channels that share private content.

What do you think about this? We have also thousands of similar cases and almost 80% of users are dependent on WhatsApp only to do their work, share memories, personal chats, etc. Should our Government make the same decision to manage these types of cases? Hit the comment below…
