Nothing Phone 2a Specifications

This is a 161.7 x 76.3 x 8.6 mm device with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2412 pixels offering you a similar transparent back panel. The Nothing Phone 2a has a 6.7 inch, 120Hz AMOLED Display that supports HDR10+ and up to 1300 nits peak brightness. However, every time we always go for HDM instead of Peak Brightness. In this phone, you will see the 1100 nits HBM brightness that is good at this range.

The Phone is built and running on Android 14 and promises to get the 3 major Android updates in the future. Also, it houses an octa-core, Mediatek Dimensity 7200 Pro (4 nm) processor with a max frequency of 2.8GHz which is also good for now.

Looking at the Memory options, this phone allows you to buy 8GB RAM/128GB Storage, 8GB RAM/256GB Storage, and 12GB RAM/256GB Storage options. If you picked the low storage mode, unfortunately, you can not increase the storage because this phone does not support the external card.

• Color Consistency at 1X Zoom: At the 1X Zoom from the rear camera, it’s oversaturated that feels like AI-generated colors
• UW Camera Color Oversaturated: The UW camera lens also has the same problem. Somewhere it gives low-saturated pictures and somewhere it gives oversaturated pictures. There is color consistency on the rear sides UW camera.
• Gets Scratch on The Rear panel: The rear panel is made with high-quality plastic which is why you can see scratches and fingerprints on it. It is better to use a transparent film or back cover on that.
• No Charger In The Box: Even investing more than 23K INR you will not get a chagner inbox. You have to buy it yourself.
• UFS 2.2: The Nothing Phone 2a comes with the Ultra Fast Storage Version 2.2. In the gen of UFS 3, it features the UFS 2.2 which is seriously unfortunate even at this cost.
• Overpriced: I thought, the Nothing Phone 2a was overpriced. It should be launched under the INR 20K budget in India.

Is it Worth Buying Nothing Phone 2a?

If you are looking to get a phone with a unique design and clean UI then you can go with the Nothing Phone 2a. Or, if you have an option to buy this phone around INR 19K also you can go with this, but I will recommend not to go at the 24K price range in 2024-2025.

I also like the Nothing devices, but I think the Nothing Phone (2) and Nothing Phone (2a) are both overpriced. This doesn’t mean that if you buy them at this price, you’re making a mistake. I just want to point out that there are many other options available for purchasing a better phone at this price range.
